Liquidity Management

Business Online provides you with access to your notional pooling (cash management) reports as well as the ability to view your sweeping arrangement. You also have access to print your notional pooling reports and sweeping instructions.

Business Online gives you access to your online bank balances and/or statements for all your accounts held at Standard Bank.

Business Online’s balance and statement capability provides up-to-the-minute information, as well as all transaction details. This gives you all the tools you need to run your business, doing away with the need for any intervention to balance and reconcile your accounts.

Third Party Fund Administration

The Third Party Fund Administration (TPFA) offering is an electronic investment and transactional solution which allows third-party fund administrators such as attorneys, asset managers, estate administrators, liquidators, property managers, fund administrators, chartered accountants, estate agents, auditors or any other institution or business considered to be a financially accountable institution (referred to as agents) to manage funds on behalf of their clients.

 

Online balances and statements

Single view of online balances

  • View all online balance and statement information for all your bank accounts, including across companies/subsidiaries, all on one screen.
  • A search facility is available for quick and accurate searching of a specific transaction.

Checking statements made easy

  • Interim or intra-day statements are available, enabling a view of changes (transactions processed) to your accounts throughout the day.
  • Full end-of-day statements, reflecting all transactions posted to the account for the period since the last statement cut-off date, are available as at the end of each day.
  • Statements can be downloaded directly from the system in a variety of formats compatible with most ERP and accounting systems.
  • The statement history period is three years on transactional accounts.
  • Printer-friendly versions of statements are available.

Segregation of duties

The system offers segregation of duties, enabling you to specify which staff are allowed access to the various account balances and statements.

  • Secure internet-based system
  • TPFA styled accounts are blocked from debit orders and cheque withdrawals
  • Third-party clients are unable to access their accounts
  • Separate operator IDs and password control
  • Each operator uses a separate security token
  • 128-bit encryption ensures safe transmission of data
  • Data logs are available to clients on all activity on the system
  • Segregation of duties enabling administrators to set various levels of authority for individual users
  • Account numbers assigned to you enabling you to open accounts without having to visit your branch
  • On-site training is provided for all new users, either on a one-on-one basis or in small groups
